Calendar of Events

Meet Mary Lou in a city near you! Mary Lou takes "The God Box" story around the country all year long. 

Currently she is performing The God Box: A Daughter's Story in theaters in major markets and donating all the proceeds of tickets and book sales to health, hospice and cancer care, as well as charities and not-for-profit organizations dedicated to women, family and educational causes. In addition to her one woman, one act play, Mary Lou also presents selected scenes from the show along with readings from her book for smaller venues. And she is also available for book signings, readings and book club conversations via Skype.

The Sugden Community Theater

Naples, Florida performance of The God Box Mary Lou will perform the show on behalf of Avowcares.org on Sunday January 18th at 7:30PM at The Sugden Community Theater, 701 5th Avenue S. Naples, FL 34102. Tickets are $50 and include a signed hardcover copy of "The God Box" book as well as a dessert reception after the show.

St. Ann Jubilee Center at St. Ann Catholic School

Naples, Florida performance of "The God Box" In celebration of Catholic Schools Week, St. Ann Catholic school will host a performance of the show in the St. Ann Jubilee Center at 6:30PM on January 28 at the school located at 542 Eighth Avenue South, Naples, Fl, 34102.
Tickets are $20 and available by calling 239-262-4110. All proceeds benefit the students at St. Ann Catholic School.

Dayton, OH performances of "The God Box" Two performances to benefit scholarships for the Erma Bombeck Writing Conference, held every other year on campus.
March 30 at 7PM: Tickets $25 (includes book) or $15/buy four tickets and get one free. Talkback follows show: "Writing your Heart Out" with Mary Lou joining local authors onstage;
March 31 at 7PM: Tickets $50 (includes book) Talkback "A Mother's Bond featuring Betsy Bombeck.

At our Thanksgiving table, as so many families do, we go around before we eat to acknowledge what each of us is grateful for.
